Get your medicine by mail

You can save time and money by getting your prescriptions in the mail. The Mail Order Pharmacy will deliver your medicine right to your home. It will even cost less than what you’d pay to pick it up. Your medicine will usually be delivered within 10 to 14 days from the time the order is placed.

Reasons to use the Mail Order Pharmacy:

  • Get a 2-month supply of medicine for one copay

That means you’ll pay half the cost and you won’t have to get refills every month.

In-network pharmacies

Be sure to use an in-network pharmacy if you don’t use any of our other options.

There are thousands of in-network pharmacies in the Culinary Health Fund network. If you don’t use an in-network pharmacy, you will have to pay the full cost of your medicine.

How much will my medicine cost?

You have copays for your medicine at in-network pharmacies. The amount you pay depends on what you’re prescribed. Here’s what you will pay for your medicine at in-network pharmacies:

Generic medicine (Tier 1) $10 copay
Formulary medicine (Tier 2) $20 copay
Non-formulary medicine (Tier 3) $35 copay

Specialty pharmacy

If you’re diagnosed with a chronic or complex condition, like cancer, multiple sclerosis, or rheumatoid arthritis, your doctor may prescribe a “specialty drug.” You or your doctor will have to get prior authorization before you get specialty drugs. Once you have prior authorization, you can only order the drug from our specialty pharmacy. The specialty pharmacy is Optum Specialty Pharmacy.
